It's often thought that animals utilize their five senses to the extreme in order to survive. However, that's not exactly true. Amur tigers, like Bronevik, do have a stronger sense of smell than humans but don't use it for hunting like some may think. Instead their sense of smell is primarily used for communication among other tigers. Allowing them to figure out territories and breeding opportunities.
