Minneapolis' overactive season continues, breaking high temperatures well into fall.

Minnesota is basking in record October heat.
The National Weather Service says the Twin Cities, Redwood Falls, Mankato and Alexandria all set record highs Friday.
The Twin Cities reached 87 degrees, breaking the old record of 84 set in 1966.
Redwood Falls and Mankato both hit 90. Redwood Falls' old record of 85 was set in 1943, while Mankato's old record of 85 was set in 1966. KEYC-TV reports the last time Mankato reached over 80 degrees was on Sept. 20, when the temperature also reached 90.
Alexandria reached 84, breaking the old record of 76 set in 1975.
The warm weather is expected to continue Saturday, with highs in the low 70s north to mid 80s south.
