IMPORTANT NOTICE: This farm does not work in the 1.8 snapshots so far because it seems that Mojang have screwed with the Wither's hitbox, and it is able to slip free out of the fences because it is shorter.

This design is cheap, simple, and will give you all the obsidian you need in a matter of minutes! This is really useful for overworld nether portal gold farms using the huge 1.7 portals :)
