Hazard is a close friend of East's, one of the very few friends he has. When East left Break years ago, Hazard was the only one he actually said goodbye to. He worked with Julia Song before she disappeared and has taken over her role in her absence. Even with a hefty burden on his shoulders, he goes out of his way to help East out in whatever way he can after he came back.
Hazard's play-style in 'Broken' is as straight-forward as he is. Without any tricks or fancy footwork, Hazard utilizes a mix of martial arts and throws to best his enemies. While he's a simple character, he is capable of chaining together his attacks in a way that most other characters can't. Players who want to strictly focus on bringing the hurt without having to worry about what combos together, Hazard is there for them.
