Welcome back to Britton's Hang Out Hour, and today I am joined by friend of the channel and all around cool guy Darko from @KindlesandKicks. I was excited to have him on the podcast after our conversation about Octavia Butler's excellent novel Kindred, and I can't say I was disappointed. Some of the topics we covered included reflections on our conversation about Kindred, his recent burst of success on YouTube after his Kindred review, how and why he started his YouTube channel, his thoughts on why books and sneakers are actually related, the unfortunate speed quirk on YouTube that causes me to sound like Ben Shapiro, our mutual interest in hip hop as well as some of our favorite rappers, some of the books that we've mutually enjoyed over the years, and so much more!
