In what could be her final full-time appearance at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, two-time Top Fuel world champion Brittany Force reminded everyone why she’s one of the best ever. The Chevrolet Accessories dragster driver unleashed a 3.697-second run at 338.85 mph, setting a track speed record and earning the $3,500 Ted Wiens Trick or Traction Award at the 25th annual Dodge NHRA Nevada Nationals powered by Direct Connection.
If it holds, it will mark Force’s sixth No. 1 qualifier of 2025 and another milestone in her farewell season. The defending Las Vegas event winner is determined to close her career on her own terms — and at full throttle.
“That was the killer run,” Force said. “We’ve been hitting our numbers exactly, and that .69 was what we were aiming for. It took every single one of our guys to do it.”
Doug Kalitta sits second with a 3.711 at 337.24, and Shawn Langdon is third at 3.715 at 336.57. As the Countdown to the Championship nears its climax, Force is chasing one more Vegas victory before stepping away.
