Brittany Cartwright has been partially granted a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband Jax Taylor after claiming he repeatedly threatened to "gut" her "like a fucken [sic] fish," according to court docs obtained by E! News. In the request filed Aug. 27, Brittany alleged Jax—whom she split from in 2024 after five years of marriage—has "exhibited a pattern of coercive control, financial abuse, emotional and psychological abuse, gaslighting and even physical violence perpetrated upon me." Jax has since responded to the claims in a statement on his Instagram Stories Aug. 28, writing, "There are allegations being made that I strongly dispute.
