I applied this effect on some Britney songs to see what they would sound like if she used her deeper vocals. On some songs/parts you can hear a difference, it depends on the song itself and the way the producers edited Britneys recorded vocals or how Britney sings.
As usual, regular Pitch Shift isn't used like it's included in every other audio editing software due to its unnatural sound.
