As many pointed out in 1999, I Want It That Ways lyrics make no sense. The producers knew it, the Backstreets Boys knew it, and they re-recorded new lyrics written by Mutt Lange. Everyone liked the original version that didnt make sense, so thats what we got as a release!
The alternate version of I Want It That Way (sometimes called No Goodbyes) wasnt completely dead, though. I mixed all the proper takes of the new lyrics, cut them into the original vocals where appropriate (just like the real producers did!), and resurrected it for my remix a few years ago. Now, here is my reconstructed version with a slightly different original instrumental. Enjoy!
