This footage was shot at the Biggin Hill Airshow celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. This is the Bristol Blenheim MKIV, the long nose version and was the only flying example of its type left. This is the aircraft my Father Sqaudron leader Melville (Bush) Kennedy flew during 1940 until he was shot down and became a POW in that year. This aircraft had a crash a few years after this and the nose was damaged. It is currently being rebuilt and restored as a short nose MK1, the fighter version.
