Brisbane Airport was proud to open its doors for Brisbane Open House 2026 - and what better way to celebrate than sharing a piece of our history, and our future, with the community.
For one day, visitors hopped aboard an airport precinct bus loop, stopping at the historic Kingsford Smith Memorial, home of the iconic Southern Cross aircraft, and were able to gain an exclusive preview of our brand-new Fellowship Place plane spotting area before it opened to the public.
Thank you to the 600+ visitors who visited, we loved opening our home to you.
All ticket proceeds were donated to the Royal Flying Doctor Service - Queensland Section, connecting people living in regional, rural and remote areas to primary health care, and life-saving medical services. See less
