For Halloween, I picked up a collection of hidden object games for a dollar at Office Depot. Among the collection were the games, Mountain Crime: Requital, Journey of Hope, and Behind the Reflection. However, the main attraction is a game called Brink of Consciousness: Dorian Gray Syndrome developed by Magicindie. I'm not sure why this pack of games, peaked my curiosity, but for a dollar, I couldn't beat it.
So, in this video, I take a look at the general format of the hidden object game genre, and how Brink of Consciousness: Dorian Gray Syndrome sets itself apart from the other games on the disk as well as the genre, itself.
