Shubh's starving body was being taken over by mange. He was tricky to catch, so our cameraman had to join in the help and our next look at Shubh reveals a very forlorn boy, confused to suddenly find himself in a strange kennel in an ambulance.

We had to muzzle him after welcoming him onto the treatment table--Shubh wasn't happy about any of this. But as soon as the food dish was placed before him, his little tongue started up and the new cuisine definitely met with his approval.

It took a few weeks for his new soft fur to cover his body, and by then, Shubh was everyone's sweetheart. His cloudy cataracts don't keep his eyes from sparkling with love.
