Ten acres remained of a 500-acre coastal prairie restoration at Sheldon Lake State Park in North Houston. The park needed funds to complete it. A new agreement between the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Texas Department of Transportation provided the funds. Find out how this collaboration helped bring back a coastal prairie and the value it has to plants, animals and people.
