Based on OWASP's Top 10 API Security Vulnerabilities, all represent the result of insufficient measures, or measures that were taken too late. To get ahead, companies are shifting application security to the left as part of the development lifecycle. NGINX as an API Gateway is the control point of the API traffic, so this is where most of the security enforcements must be put in place for this type of traffic. In this session, we show how simple configuration steps with NGINX App Protect WAF could help with raising the security level to protect your API infrastructure.
