Weekly Catch-up:
Brad talks about his experience shooting with Ray before they went on their Seabird workshop and how it was a nice experience to open Brad’s eyes to seeing how others shoot since he doesn't do it very often. Seeing Ray shooting high key with the Savannah Sparrow in lupins which is something Brad doesn't incorporate that often in his own photography. Then they both discuss their experiences throughout the seabird workshop that they led together. Brad enjoyed testing out his Donut Bokeh lens, the TT Artisan 250 mmm reflex lens, and shooting with one of the participants that had brought his donut bokeh lens as well. In an attempt to try to mix things up since it’s a location they have both shot many times in years past they both brought some new gear. Ray enjoyed trying out his 14-30mm f/4 lens for wide angle photography with the puffins and gannets. Brad and Ray also talked more about other techniques that they tried throughout the workshop with very slow shutter speeds and trying to find different wide angle shots that they havn’t shot before. It was great how the whole experience and workshop was wonderful this year and they are both looking forward to next year!
