"Bring It On Home to Me" is a song by the American soul singer Sam Cooke, released on May 8, 1962, by RCA Victor. The song peaked at number two on Billboard's Hot R&B Sides chart and reached No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. It has become a pop standard and has been covered by numerous artists across different genres.
In 1965, The Animals recorded a tribute to the recently murdered Cooke. Their version reached No. 7 in the UK and No. 32 on the US Hot 100. In my home country, Sweden, the song reached No.1 and remained there for three weeks.
