“A lot of parents would have looked at a kid who wanted a Disney career…A mom with a full-time job—often the breadwinner—and said, ‘That’s just not possible.’ But she found every creative way to make it work.
She was my travel agent. She was on the phone with all these different people, making sure I was cared for and safe no matter where I was going—in ways that just wouldn’t make sense if you weren’t so determined to make it happen. She’s definitely a model for me.”
