With support from the Autodesk Foundation, Bridges to Prosperity (B2P) is harnessing the power of Autodesk technology to design and construct long-lasting, cost-efficient trail bridges that connect rural communities around the world to vital resources such as health centers, schools, and marketplaces. In this short video, B2P's Needs Assessment Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa Etienne Mutebutsi explains how the nonprofit used AutoCAD to build the Marenge suspended trail bridge in Rwanda's Nduba Sector, connecting more than 3,000 residents to the capital city of Kigali.
