Donna Deegan is the 9th and first female mayor of Jacksonville. Prior to her entry into electoral politics, she anchored local news in the city for 25 years. A three-time cancer survivor, she created The Donna Foundation, which organizes an annual marathon for the benefit of breast cancer awareness in her honor. Mayor Deegan is a proud JAX native. She is an avid runner, Jags fan, and enjoys going to the beach with her husband and two children.
