Obsessed with art from a very young age, Diane always knew that she wanted a career that provided her with a creative outlet. She grew up in Parkland County and, after graduating from high school, she trained as a graphic designer at NAIT where she met her future husband and business partner. Diane is also a mother of two and it was during her second maternity leave that she started BrickBubble. Initially begun as a “just for fun” project, BrickBubble is an art based venture which allowed Diane to indulge her creative side by making tangible products that express her unique design sense.

Since then, Brickbubble has grown immensely. It carries an ever growing product line that includes branded goods such as garment tags, stamps and signs as well as unique wedding decor, custom gifts, ornaments and jewelry. A large part of BrickBubble’s business is fibre related goods including shawl cuffs, pins, gauges, buttons and more. Diane’s clientele is diverse and includes businesses and individuals from all walks of life. Some of her work is sold wholesale but most items are sold via her online store brickbubble.ca and are shipped across North America.

Self-employed for over 20 years now, Diane appreciates the challenge, freedom and flexibility afforded by entrepreneurship. Working and raising a family in Parkland County has provided an invaluable work/life balance for both her and her family. You can also find Diane on Instagram @brickbubble.

Diane will bring a lovely selection of buttons, cuffs, earrings, fibre tools and more.
