I always hated the fact that Briarlight never truly got her time to shine and just up and died like that being all depressed like she did not want to bother anyone that she was sick. Well I was bothered, bothered enough to do this au where she becomes apprentice to Brightheart (finally) and both bond over their disabilities Briarlight becoming the first ever camp guard in warriors always on a constant lookout for outsiders.

this took me just under 15 mins to draw though the animation probably took another hour.
