I play for YOU and as a tribute to Brian Wilson, his famous song IN MY ROOM. I perform it two different ways, the second being with some Chet Atkins influence.
So many accolades have been showered upon Brian Wilsom and of course all deserving. There are many videos on you tube of Brian and others explaining his songwriting process, etc. He was able to create some of the most beautiful music the ears will ever hear. One of my favs is Surf's Up off his Smile album. The guy was a genius, perhaps beyond a genius. Now he is in "Heaven" in a realm, dimension of pure bliss. He is where he got the music from in the first place and pulled it down from the higher dimension and brought it into his heart and had to share it with all of us.
When I was 12 in my room blasting the Beach Boys, I could not help but be influenced to somehow pick up a musical instrument and go down that long road of learning, practicing and sharing with others to this day the music.
