Brian Roettinger is an LA based Graphic Designer. During the day he the institute designer at SCI-Arc, during the night he continues to move forward with his own practice Hand Held Heart. In 2006 he completed "The Black Pussy Cocktail Coffee Table Book" in collaboration with Jason Rhoades before his untimely death. Roettinger received a degree in Graphic Design from California Institute of the Arts (BFA, 04). He maintains a pale complexion; a cheery disposition; a diet that allows for the faintest similitude of a night’s sleep; a passionate, vacuum-like sixth sense for understanding the ideas, sounds, and formal/conceptual languages of tomorrow.
