COURT ON CRIME | BRIAN GOLSBY TRIAL - ⏹ Closing Arguments (2018) @CourtOnCamera | Uploaded March 2018 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Brian Golsby is charged with rape, aggravated murder, kidnapping, and robbery charges in the death of Reagan Tokes, a 21 yr. old Ohio State University student in Feb. 2017.
Police say Golsby kidnapped her, forced her to an ATM where he robbed her, raped her, and then shot her and dumped her body in Scioto Grove Metro Park.
Golsby had been released from prison in November after serving time for the rape of a woman in 2010. One of the conditions of his release was that he wear a GPS ankle bracelet. Prosecutors say GPS data showing Golsby’s movements will be part of the evidence presented at trial.
GPS data also indicates Golsby was in German Villiage where a string of violent attacks took place in early 2017.
If convicted, Golsby faces the possibility of the death penalty.
