For some reason I thought this was on here but apparently not. This represents the first ever clean triple axel by a US man in competition (Allen Schramm certainly attempted it the year before and of course Gordie Mckellen was attempting them as far back as 1974 (landing a clean one during the exhibition at the 1974 Worlds in Munich).
