The United Kingdom will hold a referendum on its membership of the European Union on June 23rd, 2016.
Economics, immigration and security dominate the debate on both sides but #VoteLeave has an ace up its sleeve.
@6:12 *CORRECTION. I misspoke here. I meant to say 'propose' and not 'make.' The laws themselves do pass through the EU parliament (which is elected) and decided by majority vote. The larger point of course is that if a single member country is unhappy with a proposal, they can be outvoted and the law still applies in all countries. Apologies for the slip up.
