Bret Weinstein expressed a lack of need to apologize for his vote for Trump after he attacked Iran, breaking his promise of "no new wars". He stated: "I don’t owe anyone an apology for supporting Trump. No one does. The Democrats didn’t run a credible candidate. They ran two insults to our intelligence. It was a de facto coup—rule by a cabal of advisors. Voting Trump was a patriotic duty even if a cabal now seems to control him".
Many have pointed out to Weinstein that Kamala Harris wouldn't have started the war, as she supported diplomacy and Obama's JCPOA, as well as under the biden-harris equivalence theorem.
Kyle Kulinski of Secular Talk decided to respond: "You supported a corrupt war criminal p****** r***** idiot. Hold the L old man you sound pathetic."
Many others responded similarly to his tweet, pointing out Kamala Harris' credentials for running. Brett still shot back with the following: "I supported the candidate who was both nominated by his party, and not demented. I also voted for the guy who pledged “No new wars.” So yes, we can evaluate what I got wrong . But you apparently supported the destruction of our Republic, so aren’t in a good position to criticize."
It appears many in MAGA are refusing to apologize or say they would have voted for Harris, delusionally instead believing the same would have happened under Harris. It's a shame.
