This week's Moment of Envy comes from Brent Beach, whose decision to go out on a 5-hour photog adventure drive that morning to nearby Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada was rewarded brilliantly with a frozen waterfall and newly fallen snow!
His center-weighted composition takes advantage of the shapes of the waterfall, rocky cliffs, ice, Trees on what appears to be an island and the shape of the tops of the trees all against a set of giant mountains that are more of an afterthought compared to the rest of the scene. If you don't lose yourself staring at the wonderful snow capped icy waterfall then maybe Landscape Photography isn't your thing. :D Well done with this image, Brent!
