It's an accurate, carefully created piano arrangement of the legendary rockabilly Christmas hit by Brenda Lee.
Composed by Johnny Marks (who also wrote several other famous holiday standards such as "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "A Holly Jolly Christmas"), the song was recorded by Brenda Lee in 1958, and became one of the most successful Christmas singles of all time.
After a music video for the song was released in November 2023 − 65 years after its original release − the song reached #1 in the US, turning Brenda Lee into the oldest artist ever to top the charts at age 78!
Needless to say, "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" is a wonderful song to play on the piano.
