On the night of March 2nd, 2020 tornado warnings began in Southern Kentucky. At the same time, the station was airing The Bachelor and we had to cut in and broadcast over the entire program. At that point, there were already two tornadoes potentially on the ground and another cell was forming over West TN. Then, the tornado warnings began for Middle TN and we ended up with the EF-3 tornado that went through Nashville just after midnight and stayed on the ground for over 60 miles. Around two in the morning, the same system produced an EF-4 tornado in Putnam County. In the end, 25 people lost their lives as 10 tornadoes touched down that night.
