Having spent the happiest childhood next to the ocean the owner wished the same experience for his children. So architects David Peerutin’s brief was to redesign the property in an engaging way with the sea.
Interior designer, and friend of the home owners, Kyle Roux was commissioned to take on the décor.
The seaside theme is a repetitive component throughout the whole house - a kitchen designed in a seafaring style, a curved sofa that flows like the waves outside and a staircase that has a feel of heading below decks.
Climbing up the roof terrace unveils uninterrupted views from mountain to sea - the best spot to check the waves.
