Also I have the new version of this glitch that has access to 9 weapons! The herb 9.0 glitch which also explains the money glitch and has audio.

The only difference is for a speedrun this version uses a 1 minute time save for Sten's herb (Thanks Emkan!) and I show how to get it on some other party members in this video. You could actually watch the other video and read my notes here and know what to do.

Introduction:
This video starts after the child beginning. You need to pick up the treepole as a child in your room and the lifepl in the elders room in hometown. See the infinite money glitch (that other youtubers have done) for more details on the swch glitch.

We use the switch glitch to get a "Herb Weapon" that has 64 attack power and also comes with the elemental property of fire (a herb with fire power!). This makes Terrapin and other parts of the game a lot faster.

This glitch can be done with any accessory. We use a fishing pole because it is the only accessory that we can get early game (gold does not work)

For Sten's, we do it at Hometown with Bow and Ryu in the party. Ryu needs to be in the second slot.

Nina's is done when we arrive at coirsair for the first time and Ryu is by himself. (slot 1)

We get Rand's when we first get to Windia from doing the glitch with Ryu in slot 1. At this point we can also put Ryu in slot 2, 3, and 4 to get the herb weapon for Jean, Bow, and Spar.

For Katt, after the Terrapin fight and once we progress the story after talking to Ray at Township. Put Nina, Sten and Rand in your party. Have Ryu in slot 1 and do the glitch at Coirsair to get Katt's.

The glitch is done by doing the swch glitch (please see videos referring to infinite money) After earning money... or if your only after the weapons. Once you get into that menu where you see the Nature whip for 90000 zenny. You must actually purchase the item by hitting "A" and saying yes.

Note: You will not see a natures whip, or the same items everytime you do this glitch, but it will work if you do it when party members change and have the correct slot picked. This would work with an all/all accessory and someone besides Ryu in the active party. It will still result in a herb weapon with 64 attack power.
