Reuters says Tesla is building a small, affordable SUV shorter than the Model Y, built in China on a new platform.

Tesla already scrapped a budget EV once, and Elon Musk called cheap EVs "pointless."

Musk recently teased something "way cooler than a minivan" is coming, which suggests a bigger vehicle, not a smaller one.
