In this video from Gulf Coast Knapping, I break open a massive Tallahatta quartzite boulder and start working the fresh spalls into a future blade biface. Tallahatta is one of the most unique Gulf Coast materials I’ve worked, and I was excited to finally see what was hiding inside this huge piece of stone.
