As I walked away from the duck yard this morning, a rather loud quacking drew my attention back - and that is when I saw the squirrel out, enjoying the maple blossoms. MAPLE BLOSSOMS! That is what the bees were out after just the other morning! On the way back to the feed bucket, a solitary male titmouse caught my attention .. the fellow was most insistent that I put more sunflower seeds out for him - to stuff into is nest to impress a future mate, no doubt. I don't know about any groundhog - they haven't been back since year before last, and good riddance! - but it looks like Spring is a GO GO GO!
