Today AWP found a dark blue, 2014 Nissan Sentra with Oregon plate 319 KQV driven by 76-year-old former mayor, Ralph Brown who went missing May 16, 2021, from Cornelius, Oregon.

A full edit of our search and recovery efforts will be available in the next few weeks.
We began our search today, May 13th, 2022, at 9:00 A.M. at Rogers Landing in Newburg, Oregon.
An area we had searched on 3 other occasions.
Working from the knowledge we've gained this past year on the road about dementia patients and cell phone pings, AWP was drawn back to the Rogers Landing Boat Ramp because of Ralph's last cell phone ping near the area.
"We just couldn't let this one go," said Jared.
Shortly before 10:30 am, Jared and Doug identified a vehicle near the boat docks upside down in 35-40' of water.
After diving, Doug was able to pull the Oregon Plate: 319 KQV matching the vehicle Ralph was driving.
With all windows up, Doug was not able to identify if anybody was inside.
Jared called Ralph's daughter, Laurie Saunders, immediately to update the family in conjunction with coordinating with Yamhill County Sheriff's Office with information about the find.
Upon removal of the vehicle, a body was confirmed to be inside.
A full autopsy will need to be conducted before confirmation can be made that Ralph has been brought home.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ralph's family during this difficult time.
Hug the ones you love for you never know when it might be the last time you see them.
