#JuanGuaido calls for protesters to hit the streets to demand the entry of US aid trucks into #Venezuela.

Since Thursday, February 7 #US trucks full of food and medicine have been waiting to cross the #Tienditasbridge which has been blockaded by shipping containers and a fuel tanker. The #aid includes flour, lentils, rice and cooking oil, as well as personal hygiene items like toothbrushes and soap.

The political situation in Venezuela is unclear after #NicolasMaduro was sworn in for a second term as President and Venezuelan opposition leader and head of the National Assembly Juan Guaido declared the inauguration illegitimate, announcing himself interim president.

#Maduro condemned the decision of a number of countries to recognise Guaido as Venezuela’s acting president.
