Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have both signed contracts to fight each other, with November being the target date of the fight. Tony Jeffries, Olympic medalist boxer, breaks down exactly why this fight keeps getting held up, and gives his own prediction on what happens next.
Both fighters have already agreed to face each other, and the real holdup is a power struggle between the promoters, Eddie Hearn and Dana White, over who controls the event and where it takes place. The location itself is the real fight, UK soil under Joshua's contract against Madison Square Garden for the bigger American audience. Tony sees this playing out differently than most people expect. If Fury runs out of patience waiting, he believes Fury will simply take an easier fight against new world champion Filip Hrgovic instead and become champion again before retiring.
