Into the Hoods | Breaking Down 'The Soldier's Dream' from Sondheim's FINAL Musical 'Here We Are'. @into_the_hoods | Uploaded May 2024 | Updated October 2024, 37 minutes ago.
We have been gifted with one final masterpiece from legendary Broadway composer Stephen Sondheim. In this video, I will be looking at the song "The Soldier's Dream", an audience favorite, and one of the few songs in the musical.
It uses a clever motif throughout the song, and it also shares similarities to the opening song (Happiness) from his 1994 musical "Passion".
