Whenever we hear the name Daniel Ricciardo, rumors about a possible move to Mercedes, HAAS, and Williams pop up in our heads. Although these are the most realistic options for the Aussie, it seems like he has finally made up his mind and has made a decision on his future. Many believe that he’ll drive in a team that is a constant backmarker on the grid because that is the only salvation option he has at this moment. However, what does Danny have to say about this? Daniel Ricciardo won’t be part of McLaren in 2023, and he’s set to be replaced by his younger compatriot, Oscar Piastri. After a disappointing 2021, and a devastating 2022 season, the Woking-based team has finally decided to get rid of the 8-time race winner, as he still remains the latest winner of McLaren in the last decade. With that being said, many thought that Ricciardo would be a very well-wanted asset on the grid, and that is something that Christian Horner said in an interview. When he was talked about the driver, he used to be a boss to in Red Bull, Horner said that he still doesn’t understand why Alpine doesn’t consider him as a top candidate for the vacant spot left behind Alonso.
