Teacher Enoch Burke’s entire bank account has now been seized by the Irish Courts. The Courts have also directed that the Irish Attorney General Rossa Fanning may apply to seize any other assets owned by Enoch Burke.
The root cause of this case was the principal's direction to all staff to address a male student by a new name and the "they" pronoun. This demand had no legal authority and has never been assessed for its constitutionality or lawfulness by any Court.
