On 26 May at Whitby Abbey in Yorkshire, English Heritage broke the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ for the largest gathering of people dressed as vampires. 1,369 vampires descended to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the publication of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, a novel much inspired by the dramatic ruins of the 11th century gothic abbey.
