“I am truly honored and very happy to greet you all as a principal dancer. I have always been someone who is deeply influenced by others—both in dance and in life. Through the inspiration I receive, I continue to learn, grow, and shape it into my own voice, enjoying every moment on stage.
Now, I hope to become someone who can inspire others as well. As I continue this journey of learning, I may not be extraordinary, but if someone grows their dreams by watching me, or learns something through me, then being a Principal Dancer at Boston Ballet will be even more meaningful and fulfilling.” —Sangmin Lee
