Breakfast for Heroes was a fundraiser breakfast for Helping Hands for Freedom. Founded by SSG Patrick Shannon, a Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom veteran, Helping Hands for Freedom is a non-for-profit that specializes in aiding families who have loved ones either wounded or lost in military combat. Also speaking at the breakfast were Maj. Gen. Martin Umbarger of the Indiana National Guard, and Dallas Clark of the Indianapolis Colts.
