A quick breakfast hop this morning with my bride. We decided on our favorite spot, Katie's at the Cambridge Airport, KCGE. We enjoyed a great flight; smooth ride, cool temps, and hardly any traffic.
On departure from CGE I had a traffic issue with an inbound Cessna that called out one entry, to the wrong runway, we all make mistakes. The problem was she entered on an extended downwind instead of the 45 degree for RWY 30 (32) as she had called out. I called my crosswind for 32, she followed with a down wind call flying just above, and in front of me. Head on a swivel and always eyes outside anywhere near the airport.
