Brazil's coffee harvest is around 95% complete, yet arabica prices remain supported because producers are selling more slowly than usual.

Leonardo Rossetti, Principal in Market Intelligence at StoneX Brazil, explains what the slow selling pace and the coming flowering season mean for Brazilian coffee supply.

Around 95% of the Brazilian crop is in, but part of it still must clear final processing before it reaches the market. StoneX field work in Espirito Santo shows robusta flowering largely finished with strong vegetative conditions, while the decisive arabica flowering in Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo is still to come. The rainfall that follows flowering determines fruit set, which is what turns a healthy bloom into an actual 2027/28 crop.
