First off, I wanna mention that this tribute isn't about the quality of the mashup but more of the meaning of it to me, I grew up watching Bray in my first year watching wrestling, he was already there with the Nexus and I had even went back and checked his NXT Season 2 promos and it was always apparent that he focused more on the promo and character in addition to being great in the ring for his size, The Tank with the Ferrari engine; fast forward accouple years, he had debuted on the main roster, I haven't seen him after the nexus run because I didn't watch NXT, I found it to be a character that could have fit in every era, from the Golden Era up till today, and he didn't always stay the same, every year there was an extra twist on the character, an extra edge, and he excelled in portraying it, and accouple years in, he finally got the WWE World title win that he deserved, fast forward to the Fiend character and the Firefly funhouse which was my favorite of his, because I always like split personality gimmicks especially when they were THAT different, his feud with Orton in 2021 was my favorite, I mean he was literally on fire during the match, I was so happy when I knew he would come back at Summerslam last year because it got confirmed to me from someone inside that it was legit and the fireflies on the poster where for his return, and when the day came, the light, the door opening, the firefly funhouse characters in the crowd, the music, it was perfect, as well as his last feud with LA Knight, Loved the promos, the match and of course Uncle Howdy, and even though something stopped the Bobby Lashley feud, I was really looking forward to seeing him back, literally hoping he would come back to face Cody and revive a NXT storyline since Cody was his Pro down there, but sadly that will never happen, But he is in a better place now, rest in peace Windham Rotunda 1987 - 2023.
