Bravely Default 2s Marla is the Assassin ( or Phantom ) boss. To win in Marlas boss fight I would suggest equipping your best physical defensive gear. Bravely Default 2 wont remind you that your gear is out of date, so always compare at the local shop.
I am doing this fight on the Hard Mode difficulty, so it might be easier for you than it looks here.
