This is something a bit different from what I usually post XD

So what is Bravelands? It’s a new book series by the same author as ‘Warriors’ and it takes place in the African plains, the 3 main characters are a lion cub, a baboon and an elephant. It’s an absolutely amazing book series and I’d strongly recommend reading it. There’s so many great characters and plot twists that you just have to keep on reading. But be warned, true to the Erin Hunter style, there are a LOT of character deaths.

Just to be clear, the first 3 symbols for the characters at the start are NOT my original design, they are based on the symbols shown in the books (shown at the start of each chapter) I did draw and color these myself, but they are not an original design that was created by me. (The sun one is my own design though, based on the same style as the others)

WoF is still my favourite series, but Bravelands is a close second. It’s also super easy to get into as there’s currently only 4 books out, so go check them out!

Now tragically I can’t find anything on here for the Bravelands fandom which is such a shame. The biggest book fandom on here is definitely Warriors, but shockingly there’s practically nothing for Bravelands, despite it being written by the same author. And in my own opinion, I think that Bravelands is a lot better than Warriors. The majority of the Bravelands videos are just book reviews/trailers and I’ve only found a very small handful of actual animations, I really hope that changes in the future. I don’t know if this is because not many animators have actually read Bravelands, or if they have but haven’t made anything because no one else has and they think no one will be interested…

I’ve just recently finished reading the new one: ‘Shifting Shadows’ and wow were there some dark twists in that one. I can’t wait for the 5th book to come out ;0;

And something else I’m really pleased about, is that so far, there are NO humans anywhere in these books. I don’t know why, but I just prefer these sorts of stories without any people XD

I’m super proud of this, but I may alter some of the designs later on XD Sky’s ears were such a pain, and I really wanted to make Thorn super fluffy XD I know that the Crownleaf doesn’t actually wear a crown of leaves, but I wanted to draw it like that XD

Baboons and elephants are hard to draw ;0;

The really funny thing is that one of the characters is actually called ‘Fearless’ so this meme was very appropriate XD The meme was supposed to be a bit longer but I couldn’t decide what I wanted in the 4th part so I just skipped it XD

I wanted the pictures at the side to be blurred around the edges but I wasn't able to do that and green screen it as well so that's why they look a bit odd XD

WoF fans, don’t worry I’ve got plenty more WoF videos to come, but I also plan on doing some more Bravelands videos in the future too :3
